Erweiterung der aktiven Sterbehilfe auf Kinder und Jugendliche? Das ist heute die Frage im Parlament. Die Debatten sind heiß geführt, Meinungen pro und contra gibt es sehr unterschiedliche mit guten und weniger guten Argumenten. Heute wird abgestimmt. Wie auch immer das Resultat ausfällt, es wird immer eine Gewissenfrage bleiben im konkreten Fall einer Anfrage. Wir dürfen die Not der Schmerzen eines Kindes nicht verniedlichen, die Schmerzend er Eltern nicht einfach abtun. Aber ist die erlösende Spritze oder Medizin die beste Lösung, bleiben wir der Würde des Menschen verpflichtet? Auch wir Gläubigen haben keine einfache und glatte Antwort, es muss gerungen werden. Wollen wir noch um Wahrheit ringen, oder haben wir lieber Gesetze, die uns Entscheidungen und gewissenfragen abnehmen? Der Ausgang der Abstimmung scheint jetzt schon festzustehen, welcher wird dann der Beweggrund der meisten gewesen sein? Warten wir es ab. Und bis dahin beten wir, wie die Bischöfe es uns ans Herz legen.
